6 Reasons Why Your Sells Going Down

Hey friends, sorry for the delay post. I was busy in my examinations so not couldn’t get time for write an article. Anyway today in Search Engine City I want to share 6 reasons that why your sells of the website going down in a month. Sometime I found that our Boss defined the target of every month and we work hard for achieving that target. But sometime due to some of reasons we can’t achieve the targets. Here I want to share some of reason which are affecting for not achieving your targets.

SERP Down:

You are doing SEO (On Page & Off Page) for getting your website ranking on 1st page of Google, Yahoo & MSN. Generally Google gives more traffic and business. So most of the people prefer to do optimization for Google. If there is changes in Google’s Algorithm and sometime due to changes in our websites and sometimes due to technical reasons your ranking from SERP is gone. It will take a time to get ranking back in SERP. In this period you will get the less traffic on your site and also less conversion. So your sells going down in that period.

Inflation:

When inflation is running in the market at that time your sells of the site is decreasing. If you are selling very important product which are very necessary for living life then inflation will not affect on your business in that case people will buy products in inflation at any price. But if you are selling some of products which are for the entertainment purpose then in the period of inflation people will not buy your products.

Seasonal Products:

If you are selling some of seasonal products on your website then your selling is down in other seasons. You can sell your products more only in the particular seasons. Eg. If your website selling umbrella so people want to buy umbrella in monsoon season and nobody want to buy umbrella in winter season.

Natural Disasters:

If your website’s products targeted area is USA and you are selling your products in USA. But if there is any kind of natural disaster happens like earthquake, flood and storm etc. then at that time your selling of the website will be down.

Rumor:

Rumor playing major role in decreasing our sells. As an example if there is news in the market that due to dosage of XYZ medicine people will be dead, it is a rumor. During this period the people will not try to buy your products and in this period your sells of the products will be going down.

Changes in Consumer Behavior:

In the last changes in consumer behavior can decrease our sells of the website. Consumer behavior every time changing like some time consumer prefer to buy over the counter and sometime prefer to buy online, some time they prefer to buy quality products and sometimes they prefer to buy cheap and quantity products. So we can’t say proper about the consumer behavior and this factor is playing major role in decreasing our sells of the website.

7 Reasons – Why Visitor Left Your Website?

Today here I want to give some information on reasons of why visitor left your website. We can say it in other sentence that why visitor click on close button of the website? There is 7 reasons for left our website by visitor. The reasons are Web Design, Complex Site Structure, Content, About Us page, FAQ page, Pricing page and Contact Us page. Now we are discussing on these 7 reasons in detail:

Design of the website:

Design of the website is playing a very important role for getting conversion or inquiries from the website. Actually our website is working as a virtual office. Just think if you are going to purchase any product in the local market at that time there is a two shop, one shop is attractive with interior and also attractive with lights and second shop is very simple there is no attractive interior of the shop and no attractive lightings in the shop. At that time your mind saying to purchase product from that shop which are design with attractive interior.  At that time you feel good to purchase from that shop. Same in case of website design. If design of your website is attractive and theme based and also it is user friendly then it is very useful for getting conversion or inquiry from your website. Sometimes due to web design visitors are purchasing a product from the site. If design of the website is not attractive and not theme based then visitor just click on the close button of the browser and left your website.

Complex Site Structure:

We should to create our site structure easy and user friendly. Our site structure should not have complex site structure. We should to create our site structure easy so every user can get the data what they are looking for. Sometimes visitors surfing our site but due to complex site structure they can’t not get the data what they are looking for. In last they click on close button of the web browser and left your site.

Content:

As a SEO you all know that content is very important for Search Engines and for Users. Content is playing a role of Shop Keeper. Content convey our message to visitor on behalf of shop keeper. So it is necessary that we should to create our content user friendly. We should to create our content with easy language so every visitor can understand what we want to say. We should not to use high level English language in our content. If your content is in high level English level language then again visitor click on close button of the web browser and left the website.

About Us Page:

About us page is very important page for our website. It gives the information about our company. Every customer is thinking about the safety of their money and also they want to purchase the product from the trusted sites. We should to create content of our About Us page trusted. We should the add sub pages in about us page like Management Page, Infrastructure Page, Vision of the Company, Affiliations etc. if we can’t add the whole pages then we should to add paragraph in about us page. This types of pages very useful for setup a positive effect about our business in the mind of visitor. If your about us page is not proper and informative for visitor then they click on close button and left the website.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Page:

FAQ page is very important page in every website. It gives the answer to the visitor for their questions related to our business or our services. I found so many websites that there is no FAQ page. Sometimes though FAQ page visitor can get the answers of their questions. For FAQ we should to think as a User of the website and we should to create the list of general questions which are frequently asked by the users. So if visitor can get the answer of their question, so the can take the decision for purchasing products from website or not. If we have not placed a FAQ page on our website and if our FAQ page is not proper then visitor again click on close button and left the website.

Pricing Page:

Pricing page is very important page for every user. After surfing your whole website visitor just think about the pricing of the product and your services, if they want to buy. In your pricing page if pricing of the product or services is higher then the market price then nobody wants to buy the product from your website. So we should to mention the price of the product or service on our website as per the market price. If we have mentioned the higher price of the product or services then market price then visitor click on close button and left the website.

Contact Us Page:

Why contact us page becomes reason for visitor left the website? Sometimes visitor want to give the business in specific country. If visitor want buy some product from the US country and during surfing he found UK based company’s website then this time visitor not give the business to that website and then he click on the close button of the website and left the website.
