I noticed the same thing as well. From my observation Google will show these longer-than-usual snippet whenever the keyword queries are more than 3 words. I wrote the same thing on my blog last month (however it&#039;s in Malay language though...but you can see the screen shots there) :

It will give me a lot of work to optize decriptions to the new standard ... but gives more room for creativity.
